My deepest and sincerest condolences to Alan's family. He was such a sweet gentle and loving man. Every time I saw him at Fearnhill on Wednesday evening football he always greeted everyone with warmth & affection! He will be sorely missed. RIP Davinder Johal (Charlton)

What a gentle soul, always had a smile on his face when I went to Fernhill on Wednesdays. Alan had a natural ability to play football, you could see from the way how he positioned himself instinctively on the pitch. He played a lot better than his very very young counterparts on the pitch. Hats off to you my friend and fare well. May God bless him and may his soul rest in peace. Polly
